Southern superstar Rajnikant, who leaves audiences in awe with his implausible stunts and unique styles, says his forthcoming sci-fi movie 'Robot' is the first Indian film of its type and that every aspect of it is comparable to cult Hindi movie 'Sholay'. 'Around Rs.160 crore has been invested to make the film.

Media One is producing the film titled Chikku Bukku which has Arya and Shreya in the lead roles. Manikandan is directing this film.

The story of the film begins in London and ends in Karaikkudi. Major portions of this film were shot in London and the remaining portions were shot in Karaikkudi. The shooting of the film has been completed and now post production work like editing, dubbing and sound mixing is going on.

Arya dubbed for some days for this film. If he dubs for another 5 days, portions pertaining to him will be over. Producer Dr Murali Manohar made a complaint to the Producers Council that Arya is refusing to dub. The enquiry was conducted in the presence of Producer Council secretary Sivasakthi Pandian.

Actor Arya, Film Chamber treasurer K S Srinivasan, Nadigar Sangam secretary Radha Ravi , producers Dr Murali Manohar and Jayakumar attended this enquiry session. After the talks, a compromise was made between Arya and the producer and Arya had agreed to dub.

My father Joshi is a big Marathi director. Like all other heroines I was also selected by Jyothi Krishna for Ooh La La after seeing me in a function.

It’s okay

I heard that there are lot of rumours about the beautiful heroines like Thamanna and Ileana. I think there will also be a lot of rumours about me.

Jyothi Krishna said that my eyes were like Sonali Bendre and my nose is like Tabu. Only after this I discovered these two beautifulness in me.

Though I am new to cinema, I have undergone acting training at Mumbai. Apart of this acting is a natural thing for me.

In spite of not knowing Tamil, I spoke and acted in Tamil dialogues which was about 25 pages for a scene.

I like practical glamour. That is what I have shown and acted.
